Mexican Annulment

Mexican Annulment:

It is possible to obtain an annulment quickly and  without any travel or appearance in Court. It is best if both parties are in agreement, but it is not necessary.  The procedure is so simple and fast that you can have an annulment  within 1 day.  Remarriage, if that is one of your concerns, depends on the jurisdiction where the marriage is to take place. There is no waiting period in many jurisdictions here in the United States or elsewhere in the world.

Following the granting of the annulment the official decree, together with official English translation, is sent to us by courier within 7 to 10 days.  It then takes from 5 - 10 days for the final decree to reach you, depending on what mode of delivery (mail, courier) you have chosen.  The procedure can actually occur in as little as 4 - 5 days at extra cost.

An annulment is a declaration by the Court that no marriage ever took place. An annulment will entitle you to answer accurately that you have never been married. Annulments are most applicable where the marriage is of relatively short duration...i.e., one to two years. Annulment can be obtained even for long-term marriages, or marriages with children, but you should probably discuss this with us first.

United States Immigration has very particular requirements for recognizing a Mexican annulment. If you or the person you plan to marry is not  a US citizen and you intend to go to the INS to ask for status you will need to have your annulment decree Certified and Stamped by the Mexican Government.
